  • What are your hours of operation?

Currently, our operating hours are Friday-Sunday 5:30 pm - closing.

However, if you see still see the neon "OPEN" sign on after 9:00 pm, come on in! And be sure to follow us on social media or subscribe to our mailing list because we intend to broaden our hours soon and will make announcement to everyone when we do!

  • Is it true that there's a dress code?

It depends on what you deem a "dress code" is. Back in 1949, it would seem normal every day clothes people wore when going out would seem to be "dressing up" in our day and age. Though we don't mandate any particular formal attire, we do recommend and encourage you to take a moment to consider "dressing up" if you're able. Take advantage of our "classy" atmosphere and feel free to "dress to impress" as many seek to do. That being said, Frank Sinatra does have one hard rule @ The Station: 1949: "No baseball caps allowed"! However, Fedoras are welcomed and encouraged!

  • Do I need a reservation?

Since we are a small venue, reservations are recommended to acquire your preferred seat/table, though  not required. 

  • Can I order charcuterie boards to go?  And is that your only option?

  • What is the maximum amount of people your venue can accommodate?

About 20.

  • What are the requirements to book a private event?

  • Do you serve dessert, or anything sweet?

Oh boy, who doesn't' love a sweetie???!!! We sure do! Though we don't always guarantee a dessert item, we have become known for  our "Station Chocolate Chip Cake Cookie" and "Chocolate Covered Strawberries!" So be sure to inquire!

  • Is it really true there is opera/jazz singing and live piano music as entertainment?

It is true that from time to time we will surprise our patrons with professional opera/jazz performances and live piano music is now occurring most weekends.

  • Do you have vegan options?

Yes, we are proud to offer our "Humphrey Hummus Garlic Board" which consists of our in house made garlic hummus, veges, fruit, pita bread. And may it be known, we have converted a many hummus denier. We're often told its the BEST hummus ever! Just be prepared to not kiss anybody thereafter that evening unless you both LOVE the smell of major garlic breath!!!

  • Do you serve other alcoholic beverages other than traditional red/white wine?

Yes, we serve a wide range of delicious beers, sake, sangria, champagne, prosecco. 

  • Do you serve non-alcoholic beverages?

We serve quality Fever Tree ~ Cola, Ginger Beer, Pink Grapefruit, Sicilian Lemonade, Mediterranean Tonic,  

and cold natural Root Beer in a frosted mug.

  • Is it true that Audrey Hepburn stares and winks at you in the Powder Room?

A true lady never winks and tells. You'll have to find out yourself.

  • Is it true that you play movies and concerts on the big screen?

You betcha, on our 86" TV screen! We've been known to show case concerts with Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Glen Campbell, The Eagles and play movies such as Singing in the Rain, Rio Bravo, The Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind and others!

  • When do you have live entertainment?

Currently, we have live piano on Saturdays/Sundays from 6:00 p.m. onward.

  • What kind of food do you serve?

Charcuterie boards and other surprises from time to time!

  • Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, we offer $100 minimum gift certificates. Please email: thestation1949@gmail.com.

  • Are minor children allowed?

No. We are a 21 and over only venue. This is a place for parents to have a little break to themselves!

  • Do you offer wine flights?

  • Can I see a menu?

  • What are your prices?

  • Can I come in and just drink wine?

Of course! Any thing less would be uncivilized!

  • Where are you located exactly?

630 Fleet St. Brookings, Oregon 97415. Just look for the big black and white sign "The Station: 1949". .

We're right across from Pacific Sushi.

  • Can you accommodate a wheelchair?

Absolutely!

  • Are you open on holidays?

  • What if I fail to show up for my reservation?

Frank Sinatra doesn't take kindly to "No Shows" and "The Bock" has an impeccable memory. We highly recommend emailing and/or calling to cancel your reservation as early as possible. We understand emergencies occur, just please remember to let us know in advance so we don't waste food and can allocate the reserved time/spot to another customer.
